Giancarlo Dale
A former college football player for the NAU Lumberjacks, Giancarlo Dale is a young and knowledgeable personal injury attorney who has obtained a wide variety of experience in premises liability (slip and fall), automobile collisions, motorcycle collisions, truck collisions, and animal attack cases.
Giancarlo has built a sterling reputation for his dedication, intelligence, trustworthiness, and professionalism, and he takes great pride in obtaining the best results for his clients.
A Phoenix native, Giancarlo graduated from Shadow Mountain High School and went on to play running back for the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks. Giancarlo transferred to Arizona State University while working toward his undergraduate degree and ultimately graduated from ASU with a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, minoring in both Justice Studies and Human Development. Giancarlo then earned his law degree at Arizona State University's Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
During his time as a law student, Giancarlo gained his first legal experience while working as an extern for attorneys Jose Mendoza and Eric Shapiro. As part of his externship, Giancarlo gained insights into the practice of criminal and personal injury law, as he was asked to review police reports, interview police officers, review medical records, draft demands, and shadow the attorneys during court appearances and arbitration hearings.
Giancarlo’s performance as an extern, combined with his academic success, provided him with the exposure that he needed to obtain a highly coveted Rule 38 certified position at the Arizona State University Public Defender Clinic. As a Rule 38 certified student, Giancarlo was allowed to practice law before receiving his law degree, and through hard work and dedication, he prevailed before the court in multiple preliminary hearings, argued before the court in evidentiary hearings, and gained invaluable trial experience that most attorneys do not receive until they have several years under their belt. Giancarlo was also awarded the distinguished CALI Award for earning the highest performance grade during his time at the Public Defender Clinic. Giancarlo graduated from law school with a Pro Bono distinction.
After law school, Giancarlo accepted a position at the Maricopa County Public Defender Office as he awaited his bar exam results. During his tenure, Giancarlo focused on improving his legal research and writing skills before being admitted to practice law in Arizona. Giancarlo then transitioned into a staff attorney and handled numerous cases involving DUIs, drugs, violence, and theft.
Giancarlo continued to maintain contact with Mr. Mendoza and Mr. Shapiro as he moved forward with his legal career. Once it was apparent that Giancarlo had “gotten his feet wet,” he was asked to join Shapiro Injury Law (Formerly known as Shapiro Law Group) to assist with the firm’s personal injury caseload. Giancarlo accepted the offer in 2019 and has excelled in representing the firm’s injured clients while participating in arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and conservatorship hearings.
Giancarlo possesses the drive and passion needed as an attorney to provide his clients with excellent representation.
