MEET PARALEGAL

Lupe Jasso

Lupe Jasso has spent the last two decades as a paralegal in personal injury law, business law, and corporate law. She joined Shapiro Injury Law (Formerly known as Shapiro Law Group) in 2019.

As a former long-distance runner, Lupe takes great pride in her “can do” attitude. She is a true team player and problem solver and excels in coordinating for successful results.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Lupe was born and raised in Arizona and lived in Mexico for five years. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School as a junior and then obtained her bachelor's degree in Social Science from Arizona State University.

During an early career in municipal government, Lupe created an internship program in collaboration with Glendale Community College, training re-entering students in computer design. Later, as the founder and owner of Accents Marketing Group, Lupe served on the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board of directors and was an Athena Finalist for Business Woman of the Year, nominated for Contribution to Advancement of Women.

Lupe was an accomplished administrator with a local business law firm for 14 years, managing day-to-day operational and financial responsibilities as well as transactional and corporate governance paralegal duties. Later employed in an international corporate legal department, Lupe effectively provided legal support across multiple time-zones and acted as a liaison between attorneys and clients throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas in English and Spanish.

Lupe’s community service continued with her appointment to the Light-Rail Citizens Transit Commission by the mayor of Phoenix and her participation in the ABEVA Save Open Space Committee. Lupe remains committed to the community by serving on her HOA board of directors and as its president.

Lupe is the firm’s renaissance woman, and her commitment, resolve and experience provide the firm’s clients with a unique perspective and unequaled representation.
